99 silverado head ligh mod

Default 99 silverado head ligh mod

How do i do this? Something about a yellow wire to ground? Let me know,I want all four bulbs on even on lowbeam. Is this even possible? TIA

er... I wouldn't think you would want all four beams on all the time... those high's will blind people... The way it usually goes is either lows or all four

oops rather all four on on high, i was forgetting the highs are a seperate bulb and cannot be on while on low.

Take the yellow wire coming out of the low beam bulb cut it a couple inches away form teh plug then splice a wire into the bulb side of the wire and ground it repeat for the other side. Your low beams will be on like normal then when you turn the highs on all four will be one.

Has anyone had any trouble with overheating and burning wiring with this setup?

So just tape up the wire that goes back to the PCM? And will this work on the 01 trucks as well? Just trying to figure out if I could just use a tap for another piece of wire versus having to cut it.

Hmm I tried that, and the lows cut off compleatly.? and highs stayed the same.
