Default 99 5.3L expected milage before death

ive got a 99 silverado with 210,000 on stock engine/trans. I am just wondering how long i can expect this thing to last before i get to rebuild it. How many miles have you guys seen on stock equipment? the first 100k was almost all highway miles so i think that helped its longevity. let me know what you think.

Someone on here has at truck with like 520,000 miles on it. It is like yours a 99 5.3. I think he said that he had to replace the tranny a time or two tho. If you take care of a Chevy, it will last a verry long time.

I just bought a 2003 Silverado with 169,000, runs VERY good. The tranny was done at 78,000. I HOPE it lasts a lot longer.

Alot of it depends on how the truck was treated... do you get the fluid changes done on schedule all the time or not?

Do you mean the wheel hubs and not the wheel bearings? You can't change just the bearings on 99-07 trucks.
