i dont' blame them for not wanting a new truck note. i bought my truck late in 01 so i still have about a year and a half to go before mine will truely be mine.

the people that got it good is the ones that bought a truck or car in last few years with the interest rates real low. 0 percent through 2.9 is kick ***

I'm attached to my truck. It's not nearly as fast as most of your guys trucks but I still love it. I feel at home inside it. When I drive it just feels totally comfortable in natural. I plan on making it look better and go faster. I'm at 171k now and wanna hit 200k before I do and major performance upgrades. By that time I should have the funds in order. I don't plan on getting rid of my truck ever and don't plan on getting a new truck in the next 10+ years. But ya never know.

Ive just recently been put in an awesome financial situation so I almost got a C6 today, but Im just not comfortable in them. I only have a 2 car garage though, so my soon to be wife will be getting a new STS V as soon as they stop wanting 5K over sticker . As time permits, Im going to TRY to build this into the fastest Tahoe, but Ive yet to see times from the current fastest. Im going to make a decision on a forged 370 and some kind of tranny in the next month or two. Maybe I'll even find a good deal on a T trim (I'll always be cheap). Then its getting a nice DP setup and built rear. I really like my truck.
Besides, those Y and F body guys are insane! If you dont run 10's, you arent even in the ballpark!

I'm gonna keep mine for at least another 150,000 miles. I may have to buy my wife a new truck to get her out of the rag top Camaro I just bought.
