Default 97 tahoe 5.7

My tahoe is acting crazy! Sometimes when I let off the gas it dies & sometimes it won't start without giving it gas! It was parked up for almost 3 years before I got it. I don't have a clue what's causing this. I've change the plugs, cap, rotor & wires! It doesn't throw a code either! So a little help please!

Well thanks! I've changed the fuel filter twice hoping to see something nasty inside but clean as a whistle

Over time the pigtail will corrode. This was the case with my pump when I switched it out for the Racetronix/Walbro.

Also, another thing to check would be the starter. Those wires corrode as well which would cause it to die or hard start.

Both things have happened to me. It is a 13/14 year old truck that has been sitting without TLC. Just throwing it out there.
