Hey guys, I'm currently driving my dad's 96 Blazer with the 4.3 tbi. I'm pretty sure that his intake gaskets are leaking as the truck has a slight hesitation and it's losing coolant...I've taken a quick look and something's seeping from the front/corner of the intake, not sure if it's oil or dexcool.
Anyway, if and when I condemn the intake gaskets, is there anything special that I need to know to replace them? What parts do I need? I know that I need the intake gaskets, distributor gasket, and RTV, but is there anything else? I don't want any surprises when I go to do this repair, I'd like to have my ducks in a row.
Thanks in advance!
Billy

Besides, Victor makes the Gaskets for GM's OE selection.

The Oldsmobile is sitting outside my apartment lol...I use it to smoke in when I go outside for a smoke and it's raining
The guys at work call it the "batmobile", and one of my co-workers may have a buyer for it for $600, but the guy disappeared. I'm asking $500 or bo...for the "smoking lounge" lol.
I'll get that vin for you tonight Torque Wrench, thanks a ton...you go above and beyond as always

Hmmm, another question...anything special that I have to do to set the timing? Like a connector that needs to be jumped? How many degrees do I set the timing to when I'm all done? Or does the distributor bolt in without having any adjustment (I obviously haven't looked that closely yet lol)
