I get 14.5-15 mpg, driving like an a$$hole and 16.5-18 mpg, taking it easy and setting c.c. at 70-75 mph on the highway.

My friend swears he gets 20-23 mpg in his 99 ECSB that is lowered 3/4 with 3.91's and running 89 octane. He is so full of $hit, he told me lately he's getting 16 mpg. He says it's because he has faulty o2 sensors. He tells me that there is something wrong with my truck, that it should get at least 20 mpg. I told him he needs to quit smoking so much!!

I'm definitely not the norm, but I average high 19's in my truck. When I try, I get high 21's to low 22's. When I goof around a lot, I see high 17's to low 18's. Never below 17 in the summer here with the short warmups before driving. It's a good amount lower in the winter months due to long warmups.

4.10 gears, AWD (4x4), 30.5" tires, 6.0L. 93 octane all the time. Mods in sig...

Stock, I got low 17's as a best. Plug wires and the exhaust really cleaned up the part throttle cruise and low rpm throttle responce. E-fans and tuning bumped me up a solid 2mpg.

Tell him to quit whining. I'm lucky if I get 20mpg in my T/A and I don't have anything wrong with it.
