Default 5.3 and 6.0 intake manifolds the same?

are they interchangeable, the same, would the 6.0 manifold be better on a 5.3 motor, are cable TBs interchangeable with the drive by wire TBs.

Manifolds are the same. To change throttles you would need the ETC pedal, tac module, operating system (?) and throttle. It may be tied into the BCM also.

i dont want to switch to drive by wire. i want to get a stock manifold without the big egr hole on the side like my current one has(when i took the egr off i put a pipe plug in the hole). just wondering if i bought someones manifold that came with a wire tb, or off a 6.0, if i could bolt my cable tb to it no problem.

You can get a block off plate for the EGR from GM. It retails for about $20.

The TBSS intake is the only unique cathedral port truck intake because of a 90mm opening. All the rest of the gen IV truck intakes are 87mm opening. The gen IIIs are 78mm.
