Default throttle linkage to wire

im going to putting in a 6.0 out of a 2003 silverado or vanin a 87 s10 blazer. from what i hear is that use a wire for the throttle. is there that im going to need to get it to work? b/c mine has a cable.

I would just use the 2002 intake manifold with the cable TB on it.

but get a computer from 2002 instead of one from 2003. all the sensors are the same

I just picked up a 5.3 with a full harness and everything, also got the pedal assembly with it too. Looking for a gas pedal with the wiring might also help ya out instead of doing an intake swap.

all you really need is a cable opperated throttle body, intake shouldn't be different
