You think that's tall, try the 275/60R20's that came on my 04 Ram, they are 33" tall. When they wear out, I want to get 305/50R20's, they will be 1" shorter and 1" wider. This will effectivly change my 3.92 gears to 4.04's, should help.

I got 4 new takeoff goodyear LS's in a 275-55-20. Came off a silverado SS with less than 100miles. Tires are perfect. Make me an offer I can't refuse. They're $154 new + shipping from the tirerack.

The GoodYear LS's have a soft rubber compound and alot of the Ram's come with the 275/55/20's on the factory 20's. What I don't understand is why DC would put 275/60R20 GoodYear Wranglers on the Rams that come with the Sport Package (no chrome)? The 275/60's are 1" taller and the Wrangler is really a 4WD tire and it's on my 2WD truck. The LS's only have a wear rating of 300 I think, they are soft and wear out in about 30K miles with no burnout's eat them up. The Wrangler has a wear rating of 440 (I think), harder rubber, doesn't grip ar well. My Wranglers will be worn out in about 30K (not that I've ever done a burnout), then I'll have to figure what tire I want too. I've had expensive tires and cheap tires, not much difference to me but that's just me. Seems like the better the tire handles, the softer the compound and they will wear out quickly. Buy what you think will give you long wear and good grip.
