I have searched all over the web and can't find the answers to my questions. So please help and this is my first time on this forum. I have a 2008 silverado with a 4.8 that im turning into a turbo truck. I have a 2007 5.3 short block in my garage and a 2000 2500 siverado in the yard with a 6.0 (lq4 i believe). Im using the 80e transmission and the 14 bolt rear end with disk brakes. My question is can i pull everything off the 4.8 and put it on the 6.0 and flash my computer and run with it? Will that work for the 2007 5.3. I know that my 6.0 is gen 3 and my 5.3 is gen 4 and will the 80e work in my 2008 silverado? I need help asap im getting itchy and want to get started.
