Awesome, bad*ss thread!!! Thanks for posting!!



I've finally found some extended cab, short box versions in the new (2007-08) body style. I previously went to two Phoenix Chevy dealers, found none, and they told me there were none within 500 miles. Now if I could only find a wrecked one! [I won't be using the stock bumper, front fenders, etc. and because the truck will see off road use, I don't need a pristine truck].

Haha, that's an extended cab standard box 1500 with the Z60 wheel/suspension package.

The 2500 has a split bar running down the middle of the grill. Plus a bigger grill.

Yeah, they redesigned the site recently and it is a huge pile of crap. Takes 30 minutes to find what you want when it used to take 2. At the homepage just select "pickup truck" and click find, click on the Chevy or GMC 1500 and the next screen will have a "Locate this vehicle" link and just go from there. I've found it best to search by zip code and enter the zip code of a big city for the best chance of finding something rare. Good luck.

heres some pics of my baby, extended cab shortbox (5'8") 2WD with Torsion Bar 3/4ton suspension. she's....unique and rides like an ironing board down a pile of gravel
