2005 1500 brake drum leaking
okay so i have a jf7 silverado. was going to replace front brakes and decided to check rears. drums are rusted on typical on these trucks if you don't pull them off all the time right. so after cussing hammering and prying for about 20-30 minutes i get one side off. the shoes are worn down so i need to replace those now.
i put everything back together, put the wheel on and torque it down. everything looks good, start truck and pull out then hit brakes. pedal has way too much travel as if the brake system is not airtight. i'm thinking maybe i blew a wheel cylinder by prying too hard. the fittings for the brake hoses are not wet at all and fine, it looks like it is leaking only from the lining of the drum. i will take it off again tomorrow and look inside but i am putting money on it being a blown wheel cylinder.
what do you guys think?

I was right. The seal on the left side of the cylinder popped off. Took it up to work to get it all fixed up. I pretty much lost my brakes by then and almost rear ended a parked car pulling out, haha. It's all good now though.
