Just got this email--sounds interesting!
As a coordinater of the 2004 Sport Truck Shootout in Bowling Green
Kentucky, I would like to invite you, your friends and family! We have
secured July 30th and 31st , 2004, respectfully, for the Show N Shine and
Shootout events. Our Show N Shine will again be held in the parking lot
of the Corvette Museum and the main event, the Shootout, will be for
the forth year, at Beech Bend Raceway.
To give a brief summary, the Show N Shine offers trophies to the top
trucks in each class: Chevrolet/GMC, Ford and Dodge. This show is judged
by participants and points are awarded for exterior, interior and
engine bay. This is our 3rd Annual Show N Shine and has been increasing in
popularity.
The Shootout on Saturday consists of drag racing and is open to all
street vehicles. Our brackets are broken out as 12.99 and under, 13.00 -
13.99 and 14.00 and over. Our attendees include Syclones, S10’s,
Lightnings, Dakotas, Silverados and of course 454SS pickups and any and all
domestic trucks. We offer trophies in each division as well as lowest and
highest ET and the overall Champion of the event. We will also have a
raffle and give away door prizes and sell event t-shirts.
Please visit the forum at www.454ss.com for more information, or if you

Lets drive 100 miles south. I heard there's a powerstroke down there that'll

It was just a thought. Watched the weather down there but lost trans.today. I need a GM sevice writer that's sypathetic. I'm pretty sure the BTE torqueconverter voids my warranty. Opinions, solutions,??
My plan right now is find one w/ low miles at the wreaking yard.
Hey Luke you still got that big converter you didn't like. I'm not sure what mine had to eat.I've got a lot of noise in the gearbox but no leaks and I pulled it on and off my trailer so the case is probably good.
