Ok guys, I just went to the dealership to find out about a 04 regular cab. The sticker on the truck was 27k, I am getting it for 20,100. Is this dealer cost. I know the guy but just making sure.

i stopped by my dealership the other day to look at RC '04's. i saw one in the parking lot for about $22K, but it had the 4.3 . looks like that is a good deal for a 5.3

 

You can't go wrong with that deal specially if are getting 0% APR.

 

Do Silverado's possess posi track??? And, if they do not you just put a lock (or whatever it is called) in the rear end, right???

Locking differential come as an option for about $300 on GM trucks. The glove code for this is G80. If you get one with an open diff, it's no biggie.. Just install a posi unit.

that would be awesome. I am out of here at 12 today, Have to drive out their and check the truck out. Yes it has a posi unit. my payment will be around 300. 60 months. I have a little money to put down with my trade in, but I think I am going to put 20's on it witht that money. The guys who are selling me the truck are great friends with my grandad and they owe him a favor. So I will hopefully walk(I mean drive) out of this thing with one hell of a truck that is very clean.

 

I got pretty much the same exact truck you described, but a GMC for around 21,000. That sounds like a great deal. Mine stickered for about 27,000.

 

I bought the exact same truck in 2003, I paid $18,250 but had $1500 in GM card earnings so you're right on track.
