27000 sounds like a good deal, most new 03's you should get for LOW 30's

I talked to my local dealer and he would get me into a 2004 SS for $33,500. I'm not really going to do it, I was just wondering what I could get it for. I don't know if you think the extra 3350 is worth it for a new one.

personally their is no difference, I just talked to the guy and got him down to 28,500. The only thing is this truck does not have stock wheels. It still has 20's but their polished. Not sure what they are but they tried to tell me they were 22's freakin morons. they did look good. If you want to see the truck go to www.bobhowardauto.com and look under used. The guy who owned the truck traded it for a ssr so you know they probably got it for 24-25k. I am just trying to get the best price.

Let me give you a bit of advice when buying a truck. Stop worrying about the total or what they will come down off of the sticker or truck, they can have you thinking that you talked them down $4000 and can easily add that back in and you wont even know it. Worry about what you can afford a month set a price limit. I am not paying more than $350 a month for this vehicle not $351, what can you do? This is at five years tops also.

wonder why the one that has 15,000 more miles on it only costs $2 less. the 6000 mile one has aftermarket wheels too. is that why it might cost less than expected?

Chevy are high up there.. I was looking at dodge rams.. there preety resaonable in price..

Sometimes older chevy trucks yu can get ones that are preety good.. Im going to by my dads 1990 extened cab truck with orginal 136,0000 miles and swap it with a 572 620hp GM muscle and install and tranny and 4.10 gears... I bet with this set up I can beat a 2004 ss ...... My price proably be half as much or less,,,, It all depends on what you want.. If yu want race or yu want for looks.. ...
I think the 2004 ss are over rated.. For my self i ike the 89 - 95... BUT THATS

http://www.paceparts.com/product.asp?3=180219
ZZ572--$13000
TH400--$1000
Truck--$3000
Misc.--$2000 fuel system, custom gauge cluster, motor mounts, other
stuff that will come up...etc
Exhaust--$1000
Rearend--$1000

That's $21000(lowside est.) CASH up front...NO WARRANTY...and you will go at least 11s and a sumbitch gas guzzler to drive on the street compared to $33000 FINANCED for 5 years with 3yr/36K warranty, better gas mileage, and the "looks."

To each his own though...
