Haven't changed mine in a while, but from what I remember there were about 5 screws on the bottom black cover (thought they were 7mm...could be 6 or 5mm), and I got the filter(s) -(it's 2-piece) from the dealer for less than $30. From what I hear, AutoZone or any of the big chain stores stock the filters for a better price. Oh yea, after you remove the big plastic cover, there's a black panel that's held in with one screw and the filter is behind there.

15.99 autozone, there is actually 2 filters. 3 screws, you can get away with only taking off 2 on the right. its really easy.

IIRC i got WIX filters for $15 or $16 locally, everybody knows they filter better,,, hahah.

and it only takes a minute to change them. the A/C blows very nice now.. Considering mine were in there for almost 6 years... nasty..
