Default 2 questions about small things

I just got my dad's truck ('00 ECSB 5.3 Z71) that has 92k miles on it right now. I have a question about two small noises that it makes.

First is a slipping/squeak right when you start to move forwards. Sometimes it makes the noise a little bit right when you let off the brake, but usually just after you start accelerating. It feels like maybe the connection between the driveshaft and rear end or something? I don't know. I know that at somewhere around 50k miles it started doing that too and my dad took it to the dealership and they fixed it (I remember they replaced something, but he doesn't remember what exactly), but now it's started up again. Any ideas on what it could be and how to fix it?

Second thing is some sort of noise when the engine is cold sometimes. Lifters or rocker arms or something. It's only when the engine is cold. Just a kind of clicking from the engine. My dad also talked to the dealer about this a long time ago and they said it was normal for these trucks, but normal doesn't always mean right, so I just wanted to check. Anyone know what it is, if it's a problem or not, and how to fix it if it is?

Thanks guys

The slipping squaek is your drveshaft yolk.Just take driveshaft off and put grease in splines of shaft and reinstall.Cold start ticking is piston slap and lifters pumping up,nothing to worry about.
