Default 2/4 drop - clearance questions

I have an 05 Sierra Denali that I'd like to lower a little bit. I don't plan on taking it offroading or anything, but I am concerned about how well a mildly dropped truck will clear some of the larger speed bumps, curbs, severely angled driveways, etc. I tend to "check" my parking job against curbs with my tires from time to time. The main reason I'm asking is because my other vehicle is a C5 Corvette that bottoms out on absolutely everything. I don't want to worry about that sort of thing with my truck, too. I wouldn't think that I'd have too many problems with a 2/4 drop, especially since I'll be stiffening up the suspension quite a bit when I drop it, but you never know. All experiences shared are appreciated.

your truck should be fine with 2/4 drop. sometimes i hit the bump stops on the bed b/c i don't have a c-notch. other than that, i like my drop

You will just have to watch the angle on a steep driveway that flatens out quickly. The way everything is mounted under the frame makes it very hard to scrape anything but the frame rails. Speedbumbs, no problem.
