1996 k2500 chattering sound

1996 k2500 chattering sound
When going down hill I have a shattering
sound when the truck gets to the coast
point. Do not have the sound at any other
time. Dose any body know what it could be.
The truck has a G80 locker rear end no slack
in ring gear & pinion little slack in spider gears
nether show any abnormal wear
