Is there an aluminum version of the cast iron water pump on my '00 5.3 Silvy that's a plug and play?

Has anybody done this mod? I'd really appreciate the part number of the aluminum one if it exists.

I didnt know there were any iron LS pumps out there...

 

Got any pics of this iron water pump? You never know, 99-00 had some wacky truck options, especially on the 2500s.

 

Hmm ive never seen any iron ls pumps and i work on a lot of 99 and 2000 model gmt 800s here. Either way all replacement pumps are aluminum.

 

Well magnets don't lie.... It is aluminum. I recall throwing one at the hose fittings and the back impeller seal plate awhile back and it stuck. Never thought to check the casting itself. Just assumed.
