the 4.5 turbo diesel will be out sooner than you think.... if they push it could be end of 08... looks like most liekly early to mid 09's and no there will be no trace of a 60e let alone a 4 speed behind that thing


the 6l80/90e will also be in the 2500hd's with the 6.0 and you know what that means....... you should be able to bolt right up to any ls motor and you have yourself one damn strong 6 speed auto trans...

So whats the part number for the 4.5L? Might as well throw in the 6l90E P/N as well! LOL...

We had alot of paperwork on that thing recently, it will be a late 09' or early 10' model. If I recall it's going to get the 6L90E which is impressive in stock form, but doesn't have much of an aftermarket yet. They went to press with nothing again is what happened. They have an engine developed and don't even have a place to build them. They have to re-do the Tonawanda building to build them there.

For the 45+ grand it's going to cost Jenna Jameson better come with it bent over in the back seat. I wonder if this is GM's 1/2 ton answer to the new Tundra.
