The neat thing about this is that the OBS 3500 calipers have the same dimensions as the 1500 calipers, just bigger pistons........ I already have the 3500 3 1/2" piston caliper on my OBS, and it stops like a badass.

This is why I love this forum. I had no idea. Do you know how big the K1500 caliper piston is?

If it had the F44 option it'll have a 2 15/16'" piston, the non F44s are 2 1/2"

That's good info right there.

BTW... I have a friend that tried emachineshop for a one off piece and was satisfied with the results. I would be in for a set of brackets if helps bring the cost down.

I am having them made locally in Vegas. Looks like they will be done late next week.

BigRedChevy, if they use the same rotor, and the piston is an inch bigger, then I see the caliper having to be moved a 1/2" out toward the wheel to center the piston on the rotor. Any idea if the brake pads are different sizes? I'm sure they would be since the pads are pressed into the bore of the piston.

Hopefully I will have these up in the member made section when they get done. I don't want to get in trouble for selling anything to members without permission.
