Yes sir. The parking shoes and lines are removed. I haven't used mine a single time since I had the 5 speed in my truck so it wasn't an issue for me.

How many of you guys would require a parking brake? If there is demand for it, I could make something.

To pass the safety side of the state inspection you have to have a working parking brake.

My area doesn't have emissions checks but they do check the parking brake. Curious what you have in mind.

Oh I don't have anything in mind. It will take a lot of research to see what would work but I'm not apposed to do the work. I really want to make a fuel pump assembly hat for the 2004-up trucks that would house AN feed and return fittings, 10 gauge wire, ect.

The option for retaining a parking brake is to use 1980s Cadillac calipers that have built in parking brakes.

Don't think the calipers you are using have the proper caliper bolt centers. What's the measurement on the one you are using?

Not sure what dimension you are looking for. From the center of the axle tube to the caliper bolt or what?
