who if anyone has a low 14 second z71 ec with no power adder? that seems to be a good goal.

 

I should. I ran 15.57 then got tuned, cammed, and exhausted, but had a broken plug wire and lifter that wasn't pumping up last time to the track. I got that fixed, and plan to be in the 14 sec club thurs. morning

 

My Ext.cab Z71 5.3L went a best of 14.29@96.8mph 2.0 60'..

My friend has a Z-71 he is doing 13.8 mods are 6.0(lq9),TR224, nelson tune, K&N,3" in & out flowmaster,stock 3.73 gears,31" tall stock tires

 

ooppss! I forgot you were askin on ext cabs, my friends truck is a RCSB Z-71

 

if i ever make up my mind, i hope to be a 14 or better.

right now i got a z71 rcsb 4.8 5spd. with just intake/exhaust

but right now im looking at head/cam combos...thinknig of the TR224 as most ppl seem to have it and like it a lot. also maybe 4.10 gears front/back for crazy 4wd launches(or a broken t-case lol) and also some headers w/custom y-pipe

 

Im confident Im in the 13's even though I havent been to a 1/4 track 1/8 times are in sig. This a a heads cam NA 5.3 ec z71
