Default 13 sec NA LQ9 guys: what are your mods

must run 13. I'm interested to see what you guys did to shave that last second or so.

I'm hoping tuning, exhuast and headers will get me close. optimistic?

you will need a 3000 stall, along with all the normal bolt ons and then maybe a cam and heads.

it really takes that much to drop a second. from my understand an SS was a factory 14.9ish truck.

i thought a second could be dropped with tuning, intake, exhuast, headers, normal sized wheels/tires, etc.

bottle it is.

spray will get you there. getting there n/a without a good converter though, boring...just add a tb converter and you won't be bothered by it.

Its the stock converter from the Trail Blazer. You can get it at your local yokal dealership for like $300 and if you watch the classifieds you can pick them up for even cheaper. I saw one not too long ago that was like$175 brand new. I am thinking about one myself whenever i get around to putting that damn cam in my truck.
