11.5 mpg average is that normal?

Default 11.5 mpg average is that normal?

rcsb 06 gmc 6.0 longtubes, maganaflow cat back, intake, 4.10 gear rest is all stock. i average about 11.5 mpg every tank i drive around 40 mph in town short 5-15 minute drives might get on the highway once or twice per tank. anyone else get this bad mpg in a rcsb 2wd truck?

A guy that i live by has a modded lq9 with one hell of a loose converter and gets better than that! You should be getting way better than that. Tire pressure and driving habits have a lot to do with it also.

i dont get much better if at all. maybe 12.5 city driving if I really baby it....but who can do that?

I get around 16 city / 20 highway. I baby the truck 80% of the time though. Make sure your tune is programmed with the correct tire height and rear end ratio.
