Default 1/4 times w/20's

i was wondering how much time am i gonna lose in the 1/4 w/20's compared to stock tires??? i ran a 15.12 with the stock tires in 98 weather...should i wait till it gets cooler to run so i wont be so pissed

Depends on the weight difference. I picked up a couple of tenth's when I went to my Boyds. Don't know why or how, but I did. If you're going w/ really heavy chromed steel wheels it could be .2-.5 depending on the weight difference.

the wheels are discounts brand called mb motoring (chrome). i picked one up and it didn't seem to be that much heavier, but i dont know the exact weight difference. thanks anyway

I lost as much as 5tenths in the 1/4 with 20's over the stock 16" wheels. Largely in part to spinning.

Get some steelies and some slicks. M/T ET DRAGS will solve that situation.

my buddy lost 4 tenths on his car , from 15's to 18 inch chromes . and i shaved .3 off in my old truck going from a set of billet 20's to 15 inch steelies

I lost a little over a second with MB Motoring Precise 18s. They actually have much better traction though.

i love my 22" wheels. i am sure glad i got rid of my heavy *** 18" j/k nightmare.
