it looked purple. their was also a ls1 camaro that was black and their friend also had a silver fastback mustang. I didn't talk to them but one of their friends came over and started talking to me. I wasn't impressed by either but the black camaro did look good.

Thats just the way things go. Thats why so many start out saying "I just want a little more power" and end up spending another 5K. Its not that bad, the heat, humidity, and your 20's probably killed your times. Realistically you are probably loosing a couple tenths with those heavy rims. What are your mods?? Remember I only pulled 279rwhp with my Vortech when I firsthad it tuned. I plan on hitting 400+ next week or whenever I get my alky kit. I think alot of people have skewed expectations of what their trucks wil run after reading others times in great weather with more substantial mods and better tuning. Little things add up quickly.
Cams, better tuning, and built trannies (no slippage and zero TQ management) will make a huge difference.

Get me the exact time of night you ran and the city in which the track is located and I'll tell you what the DA was. That will tell i\you if it had anything to do with the weather or not. 80% humidity doesnt really tell you anything.
Ohh, the date also. I'll post back tonight if no one else figures it out.

yeah and yours weights a **** load more then mine. I am jsut pissed about the whole experience. I waited in line for 3 hours. the first time was about 45 minutes and I was waiting from 10:40- 12:30 for the second and I said F*ck this and turned around and left becasue they were not letting anyone go that wasn't in a calss. Then I ask myself why in the hell diod they let us pay and race once. Becasue they want my money. I wish their wasa track closer like in OKC or Edmond or Guthrie would be a BAd *** palce for one. THat gives me an idea.

my opinion is that no catsmight be hurting you a little. that is a very free flowing exhaust. to me you need some back pressure to be able to run stock. throw a cam and tune in there and you will pick up a lot/

I'm with 02Denali on this one. I think the no cat, one chambered flow dual exhaust may be hurting your performance instead of helping it. It may sound bad *** but it may lack the needed back pressure to have your engine run properly. I've heard that opening up the new engines to much hurts instead of helps, they need some back pressure.

I'm not really sold on the no cat thing. I have always gained quite a bit of MPH with gutted cats on my T/A and C5. On my Truck I couldn't tell one way or the other. I did feel a loss of part throttle power but full throttle felt the same and didn't change my MPH at all on the G-Timer. *shrug* who knows.
I forgot to add I need the elevation or the name of the track you ran at for me to get the info.
I shoul dbe home in a couple hours and will post it up asap before you non-west coast guys hit the hay. That's what you Okies do right? Hit the hay after drinkin some shine?
Hahaha
