Default 05 SS RCSB with LS2

I saw in the other thread that the 05 SS would be offered in a RCSB with an all aluminum 6.0. Anybody know anything more about this or where I could read more?? Do you think the vortech kit I have now and converter will fit? Im assuming they are going to stay with a 4L65. I was just about to buy a RCSB and build a 6.0 to drop in there, but if this is a reality than I will wait.

Would be nice for GM to pull the head outta the perverbial buttox in this case, and actually follow through on this idea. Have a manual and auto offered, but lets drop the AWD, and make the thing RWD and a true Lightning Killer!

GM won't use the LS2 in a truck the same year it comes out in a C6 vette. Next in line after the C6 would probably be the CTS-V and the GTO.

"If" they do make a SS reg cab in the next year, I bet it will either be LQ9 or LS1.
