Mustangs are good, vetts are good, is all a personal preferance. So I think that everyone should just drop it, or talk about it in a sensable way. Drink some MOXIE MISTNER.

Oh yeah leave poor yellow 4.8 alone mistner.

WE MAY BE MAINERS MISTNER, BUT WERE NOT MORONS MISTNER, JESUS CHRIST GET IT STRAIGHT

OR we can concider that the 02 cobra was just as fast as the F-body give or take a tenth due to driver. Mach 1's are pretty much understood to be a hair faster than LS1 f-bodies.

you are compaing a $52,000 car to a $35,000 car.
u serious? 5.4 triton maybe rated more but a 5.3 will kill a 5.4 in any race (i've seen a bunch between different trucks and always the saem result) somethings either wrong with fords tranny, or they over rate their engines

p.s. magazines have also stated that the triton does not feel like it has 305hp at all

Well good for Ford. They have definately raised the bar. Hopefully GM will follow suit as it has since the beginning of the performance era.
Im curious as to how high the markup is on the 03 Cobra. Gm may not feel compelled to compete. This is after all a business. I paid around 10 grand under sticker so that puts it around 36 for my 01 corvette brand new. Of course Ive got a great connection through GM. It even made it worthwhile for us to buy an 03 impala as a work car.
Bottom line: GM's profit margin is FAT!
