Default '03 taillights??????

what does everyone think about the new 2003 tailights? i see that tbyrne has them now. however, the price needs to come down.

i kind of like them. actually thats the only thing i like about the new truck. i think the ss is going to look pretty cool, but can't have all show and no go.

so would yall get them? look under new products in the truck section....

i think i heard somewhere the wiring is different...but i really don't know. i've got plans in mind to do something with my stock tailights (its a secret) but if that doesn't work out i was thinking of getting the 03s too.

I really like the CHEVY '03 taillights. Keep in mind that the '03 GMC taillights haven't changed!

The wiring is different, but it's not too hard to change from what I hear. I'm not exactly sure what the difference is, but I think that the new tails have an extra blub. Again, not sure though!

I agree - I think those lights will look great on my truck, since it's victory red, and it will get rid of the amber section of the 99 light, which doesn't do anything for me. It'll all blend more nicely. T Byrne's price is better than the other prices I've seen for it, but do they include the necessary wiring harness/adapters?

supposedly from what i hear, when you purchase the '03 tails, they come with the wiring necessary to do the conversion. since its just wiring, i dont see why you couldnt mate the existing wires to the new ones....

but i'm not an electrician <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

They look good, but i'd rather do a custom setup myself...i like the caddy lights, they're sweet, imo. But whatever floats your boat

Those were damn sweet cars, but I don't think the taillights would look right on our trucks... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
