Default '01 Suburban Tow Package Wiring

any ideas where i can find the wiring schematics for the connections to the tow package plug on the back bumper?

i'm having problems getting voltage to the plug, and am trying to trace out each wire.

also - electric brakes. i understand that the '01 suburban w/ tow package is pre-wired for electric brakes, and the rear plug indicates this is so. but i think that i need an electric brake controller. anyone wired one of those in??

thanks in advance for any insight

bill

The brake controllers are ridiculously easy to wire in. You plug in that harness that you should have gotten with the towing package under the dash(itll show you where on the harness) and then you just have to match the wires to the ones on the controller. Don't forget that fuse that is with the harness either.
