01 C3 Denali 87K $16495

Hey, found this at a local dealership. Have taken it home for the weekend to test drive, everything looks good on the truck. Anything I should look for before signing the papers on Monday? Any common problems with these? And is it a good deal? I heard there were only 50,000 of these made, is that true? Sorry for all the questions, just came over from LS1tech, I have a 98Z and wasn't looking for a truck until I found this deal today......
Anyhow thanks for any input.

Price seems kinda high to me for the miles but they are loaded trucks. They are AWD trucks with viscous couplings so it's possible to wear them out (more they likely they will wear out). Has the 6.0 LQ4 (325 hp). It is constantly in all wheel drive mode (don't mistake this for a 4x4, that it is not). I'd say look around and see what type of care has been given, check service records (not carfax but GMs), ask who the previous owner was, can you contact him? If the dealer doesn't want to tell you even who owned it without proof look around see if anything looks out of place. If you provide a vin I could probably get you a build sheet and selling dealer report with any services that were done under warranty. I'd personaly say keep looking as that is a high mileage vehicle.

That's a great deal,IMO,for what you're getting. That particluar truck retails for $19K in excellent condition with that many miles. Just make sure the truck isnt falling apart. These motors have no major problems just your simple wear and tear and routine maintenance issues.
That'll be a great buy!!

I may be mistaken, but isn't the C3 the four-wheel-steer? If so, then I also think this is a good price if the vehicle is in good condition. I'd be inclined to take MonteCarlo31's suggestion and grab the VIN from the truck. If he has a contact or access to the dealer's database, you can get quite a bit of information about the truck.
Good luck!

The C3 is AWD, but not all wheel steer. The Sierra Denali is however.
I think that is a pretty good deal considering everlything you get with these. They basically have every option thrown on them.
Mine is by far the best vehicle I've ever owned!

Hey thanks everyone for the input. I live in rural Maine, that said the nearest Wal-Mart, shopping mall, Home Depot, etc. is 45 miles away, one way. Vehicles up here have higher miles. My wifes GTP now has 82K we bought it 2 years ago with 52K. So I don't have much of a choice but to not let the mileage bother me. I could spend alot more and have it depreciate quicker when I rack on the miles. It sucks, but it is a way of life here. I really love the truck! Thanks for your support, just looking for any advice. I am going to try and talk them down more tomorrow, we'll see. Here is the VIN for MonteCarlo31 VIN 2GTEK69U911332176 thanks in advance for anything you can do for me. The truck comes with a whopping 30 day/3K mile warranty, wow. So any unseen problems can be addressed later. Thanks again for your support, it makes me feel confident in this deal.
