@#$% Tach
#1
Hey guys,
I feel kinda stupid right now but I got a Tach from the junk yard, its a 3 1/2 inch sunco or something but its got 5 wires, 2 red, 1 blue, 1 black, and a yellow.I know the red wires are the power of some sort and the back is like a ground but whatdo the others go to? How do I hook it to my 93 C2500? Thanks guys.

The blue might be for the light...the other wires you should try to find out for sure what they are for.
Does a 93 have a distributor?
I haven't hooked-up a tach for a long time...it was a 86 305 with HEI and was easy.
Be sure of those wires and where they are supposed to go.

On your coil there are 2 pigtails that are plugged into it. One from the distributor and one from the harness on the firewall. The latter has a single wire that is covered and stored. That is the signal lead to the tach.
