I have my Yank Truck 3000 for sale. I bought it in Feb, installed it in March, pulled it out in April, and sold my old truck in June. Has a maximum of 1000 miles. One trip to the track, with only one run (1.74 60 foot). It was broken in properly. Worked flawlessly and perfectly driveable.

I am going to downsize to the Yank 2600 for the new SS. I think the LQ9 in my SS will make it stall higher than Yank rates it for the 5.3. BUT, main reason I need to downsize: I told my old lady I'd be taking it easy on the new truck. I think it would be easier to sneak a Yank 2600 by her.

I want $600 plus shipping for it. Sells new for $739 new from Tbyrne (where I bought it), and $750 direct from Yank plus shipping. It is packed in its original box, ready to go. I'f you are local to DFW, I'll meet up with you, and I'm going to Houston and Austin sometime next week and can do the same thing there.

 

your old lady can tell the differences in stall speeds from riding in the truck? any of the girls i've dated and the one i'm dating now couldn't even tell ya what a torque converter is, much less tell if there was a big one in the truck. how do you think this stall would work with my setup richard, you know what i've got so whatta you think?

 

Matt, I think it would work well. It would help the low end of your small motor now and stall more when you have the big motor in. We only installed a Yank 2600 in the escalade stroker.

Is it too small for your tastes? Not sure, but I do know that I definitely knew it was in there. It made my 5000 pound truck jump out of the hole, yet was just fine driving around town. Parish8 said his would flash real high when he hit it with nitrous and boost.

 

yeah, and my truck weighs between 4000-4300 depending on what all i take out. i might be interested in a few weeks if you still have it then richard.

 

What does flash mean? never really heard that before. Check my sig and tell me if it would be good for my truck, with the big slow 33's. I assume that they heavier the truck the more the stall will help, I think I will probably take it. How will you expect payment? I am pretty sure I want it.

 

Flash is how many rpms it will rise up to when you nail it from a standing start. Thats what makes the biggest difference getting off the line. Instead of jumping to 1600 - 2000 rpms with the stock converter, it will let you get to 3000 rpms immediately. You get to skip all the weak power and get right to the meat of your power.

BigTex I would just run the 3000 in the SS,my Yank 3000 flashes 3200 with a Radix.The wife will never notice it.With all wheel drive you probably need the 3000 to break the tires loose at the track unless you are planning to spray out of the hole.You can justify the Yank 3000,you are saving the SS from the abuse of spraying out of the hole.Have you run the SS at the track yet?

 

Haven't run the SS yet. Just got LS1 edit loaded. No mods yet. I'll run the 2600 so it feels better in the traffic I sit in on the way to work. And yes, I will spray it out of the hole.

 

richard, i think you should build a big cube motor for this truck and trade me that verter for my ross pistons and some cash.
