Default WTB: Whipple pulley

Hey guys I have a whipple running at only about 5psi of boost and I was looking to get a pulley that would make some more boost. I was looking for one to put out around 7-9psi. If someone has a used one sittin around I would take it off their hands! Thanks!

Whipple SC's have at least to designs, one (older) that uses an extra blower pulley on the crank & the second (newer) that uses the stock crank pulley. I don't know if the pulleys that drive the screws are the same or not, but it is something you should be aware of.

You need to know what size upper pulley you are currently running. Make sure you will be getting a smaller unit, which should increase your boost.

You can always call Whipple direct and order the pulley you want.

I actually have the original pulley and two additional pieces, each a 1/4" step smaller in diameter. Mine is the new version where the blower pulley is inline w/ the stock crank.

I really haven't thought about selling since I am kind of a pack rat and never know when I might want to make a change. Let me know what size you have and I'll think it over. I have to measure tha ones I have also, can't remember off-hand.

OK just went to the garage and checked what I have.

I have a 4-1/8", 4-1/4" & 4-3/8" pulleys. I am the 4-3/8" came stock and I am currently running the 4-1/4" pulley. I haven't run the 4-1/8" pulley yet.

Putting together another motor and not sure if I will be running the whipple or not. Either way, I don't think I want to sell any of the pulleys right now.
