It may be a little too far away for you for a basically stock 4L60e, but there is a fellow that goes by the screen name Gasguzzler on DenaliTrucks dot com that has a stock type fresh rebuild that he said he would let go cheap, just to basically recover the cost of what he had in the re-build, whatever that is. He did the rebuild himself, and I would assume he knows what he’s doing, as he is a Master Service Tech at a dealership. He is located in the DFW area.
