I'm curious why you want steel? the entire bed is plastic, why not get a plastic one? and honeslty, i've yet to see a company that makes a steel one, i could be wrong though.

Well i am corrected..... but i still don't understand why you'd want steel, on a plastic bed..... but to each his own. I have a street scene urethane pan... easy as cake to install

Can I get pics of that one?
I don't want the fiberglass ones, and it's tied with the street scene polyurathane one and the Sir Michaels Steel one.. I don't know if I will like the look of the license plate box up that high...

I made this is photoshop to compare for myself, but I don't know if the street scene one looks like the one I made on the right...

granted they may look the same...i've always preferred steel over plastic, maybe a peace of mind issue, i don't know. and if i get hit from behind, i think the steel would be a little better. to each his own though.

if you get hit from behind you have a whole 6 foot bed to protect you. that is unless you are worried about the tailgate. then you should really have a bumper.

I've heard that some plastic rool pans are so light/flimsy that they vibrate when you are driving. Could some one with a pastic one check and see if this is true for our trucks? Wouldn't want it to look cheap when I'm driving down the highway
