Default WTB: Slicks

I really have my heart set on some 28x10x16's... i need something for a 16 in. wheel. I had the ET Streets and really didnt like them, plus they were too short (my front tires are 30 and those 26" et's were just too tiny back there in combination with the 4.10 gear set)...

so anything close to that size for a 16" wheel would be great. TIA

it might look funny w/ a shorter tire in the back, but i think with going w/ a taller tire just defeats the purpose of going w/ 4.10's. you'll still have a great range of power throughout all shifts and should cross the traps in the middle of 3rd w/ 26" tall slicks. just my $.02

Hell i never hit 3rd on street tires with my 3.42s and i was dead in the middle of 3rd when i crossed the traps with my 26" et streets. I like it!

You might also want to PM Scream if you're still wanting 28" slicks to see where he got his from. They're MH Racemasters I think, but they might be drag radials I can't remember.

i think it would benefit you to go shorter unless your having traction problems with them. they are a couple of us running the 26" tall et street and having good luck with them even on stock suspension, like myself.

damn now you have me thinking.... I am actually in the market for buying some 28" e/ts... I feel that my truck is not pulling good on the top end at the track?? mine is an ECSB, does it matter?? does anybody have some hard data on this to compare a 26" to a 28" e/t??
