I was talking to this guy and he claims i can get 480 hp by just these mods alone said he did it in a 5.3 monte carlos
stage 2 jet performance
tb spacer
injectors
headers
pulleys
1.6 roller rockers
jet performance trany.
msd coil packs
larger throttle body.

 

You can't "chip" a LS-based V8 and prepackaged tuners are worth hardly anything. The throttle body spacer gets you nothing. The larger injectors get you nothing on their own. Headers are worth maybe 25 hp, pulley (I'm assuming he means underdrive pulley) probably 10-15. 1.6 rockers will LOSE you power since the stockers are 1.7 and you will have LESS lift with the 1.6's. Tranny doesn't get you any more or less power. Stock coil packs are probably just as good as any aftermarket, and the larger throttle body won't do much if you don't have any mods that require more airflow, like a cam or ported heads. You actually can't do a larger throttle body without changing the intake manifold.
