I have a 65 coming out of a 05 sierra. Putting it in the shop Monday. It's got 35,000 miles on it and runs great. i am using the tailshaft and the bell housing for the new performabuilt level 3 trans but you should be able to swap yours.

I have a thread up in the southern section....but the short answer is YES. I am planning on swapping over to a 80e from FLT and just getting a stock 60/65 to keep me on the road for the 3-6weeks before getting the 80e in.
I say 3-6weeks cause i get very busy with work and know it will take me a little while before i can instal it once i get it in.
