Just wondering, will on "02" work?
I still have mine with about 37k on them and an overlay.

 

02 won't work, the cluster is different for 03-current.

I just sold mine last month on here after it sat for a year in my closet with ~17,000 miles on it

 

Out of curiosity, why would miles matter on an Instrument Cluster?

 

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that (instrument cluster) is the only storred location for the mileage. I want to be as close as possible so I do not screw it up and get an odometer fraud glitch on my title albeit it is a work truck and will most likely rust away before it is sold. This truck was hit by lightning and fried alot of components.

You are correct. The Odo stores the mileage.

 

only in the 03 and up, the bcm stores mileage for all older ones
