Default Whipple Manifold Spacer Plate

This is a spacer plate that sits between the upper and lower halves of the blower and is 1/2" thick that I designed in solidworks. This particular one is laser cut steel, and will fit all whipples rectangular or cathedral heads. I had one made that I installed nitrous spray bars in, and this can be used for that or can just be used to increase the volumetric efficiency of the blower by raising the intercooler up 1/2" from the bottom of the manifold. It also makes it much easier to get to those bolts under the blower inlet. It is painted black but can be easily powdercoated if you want to do that.

I originally had this made by request but the buyer backed out. I have included the hardware you need to install it (longer manifold bolts and low profile fuel rail screws). You will need to apply a light coat of RTV to the top to seal it (factory oring seals the bottom). It also easier to install if you tape it to the upper blower half with the halves separated and the lower half still in the truck.

I attached a picture and this is a video of mine testing the nitrous

Asking $300 shipped.

This is for the 2.3 right? Probably won't work on a 2.9

Should work on all the whipple blowers (2.3, 2.9, 3.3, 4.0, etc.) since they share the same bolt pattern on the manifold halves. Thats what the whipple rep said anyway, so it should work just fine for you! Of course if it doesnt ill give you a full refund on it if you ship it back.

Heres mine sitting on the top half of the blower

Thanks for teasing me here's a pic of my 2.9. Notice the diaphram location.

Im guessing the bypass section connects down right? Is it straight down so if the spacer resembled that profile it would work? I can easily draw another one if I have the dimensions for that. If you can make me a sketch of the dimensions I can modify my spacer to work with that, or even a really good picture from right above.

I would love to have that plate for my 2.3L Whipple for my Mustang. Do you still have one for sale or know where to find one. I've looked everywhere. I want to add nitrous to my Whipple and don't plan on upgrading to a larger supercharger at this time.

I eventually sold this one but I can have another made. Do you know if the upper manifold is the same for your mustang as the GM trucks?
