2002 LS1 aluminum water pump with fan and clutch for sale, 14000 miles on it, came off a 5.3L. excellent shape. $100

 

if this water pump has a fan assembly it is not an LS1 pump. the LS1 pump has no fan attached to it. not flamming or anything just trying to clarify things for ya.

Hey matt do some research before you post a reply. and for all those people looking for a ls1 water pump for their LS1 powered truck I have one here for sale with a good fan and fan clutch.

 

dude, pull your head out of your ***. i wasn't trying to be a dick or anything. just stating that an LS1 waterpump doesn't have a fan assembly. a 5.3L waterpump does have a fan assembly, they are two totally different waterpumps. if you had an actual LS1 waterpump i would be very interested but you don't, you have a 5.3 truck waterpump with a fan assembly. the trucks don't have LS1 engines in them, they are basically the same, but not...NOT LS1 engines. so, in your own words, do some research before you make a post.

lets try this again girls and see who gets biatch slapped. an ls1 water pump will fit an ls1 engine. the camaro/vette ls1 water pump has no fan on it and the truck ls1 pump has a fan on it. both blocks are the same design but the truck block is iron vs. aluminum. the only difference on the pump is the fan/pulley on the end of the shaft. read this article and stop being so ignorant: http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/techarticles/95098/

 

dude, give up. you are had. the ls1 pump has a different location for the coolant inlet i think. and it is not a truck pump. a truck pump has a fan assembly on it and the LS1 doesn't. the only LS1 trucks i know of are MIX and HYDE'S and they did motor swaps and put LS1s in their trucks that originally had 5.3Ls in them. dude, there are three people with over 400 posts and some pretty good knowledge about the subject that disagree with you here. you are kinda like the lawn mower i dropped off a fork lift 20 feet in the air tonight. dude the 5.3 IS an ls1 engine why do you think you are here on ls1tech.com, cause you drive an lt1. the 4.8, 5.3, 5.7 and 6.0 are all the same family of engines. oh yeah you dont much look like a steer so i guess that narrows it down.

 

dude, the 4.8/5.3/6.0 are not LS1 engines. they are like lq4/lm7 and somehting like that. they are NOT ls1 engines. they are very very similar but not LS1 engines. and what was all that steer **** about you moron. and who drives an lt1? and these motors have a spot on ls1tech.com for the same reason the lt1 guys have a section. go away if you can't take a little correction. i was just trying to help and you got all bitchy.
