No its wouldnt have any difference... there isnt a difference in size.. i bought it orginally thinking it was larger.. and also i edited my original post.. i was incorrect on the year... this tb was off of a 02 2500 Silverado... so it utilizes the cable instead of the electronic tb.

 

Honestly.. I saw no physical difference besides that there is a distinct "turbo spool" noise at about 2k rpms, lol. It seems like the design would move more air... but I havent seen a difference in logging it.

 

there is a question about the 6.0 TB in the performance section. Have you measured it? I have been assured that the 6.0 TB is 80mm and Ive been told it is 78mm. Is there any difference from a 5.3 TB???

 

Its the same size as a stock 5.3/4.8 one.. im guessing its 78mm.. didnt measure it no, but they are identical, had them side by side at one time.

 

Do you still have the MIT air raid intake tube and filter? If so i call dibs!
