What brand and info

 

Only one brand makes a detroit true trac....Detroit. It's part number 913a481(I assume). It will fit anything with an 8.5/8.625 rear-end which included any 88-up 10 bolt rear end in a fullsize truck or SUV.

 

but actually Detroit is just brand, is made by EATON

hmm...I think Detroit was bought out by eaton...so techincally Detroit makes the trutrac just under Eaton's name

 

Technically, if Eaton bought out Detroit then Detroit no longer exists so therefore Eaton makes the trutrac and brands it under the familliar Detroit name..
