What is the advantage of the lower control arm kit vs the spindle spring kit?

Honestly not sure but I think the biggest difference is that the djm lowering control arm will allow you to keep the stock springs and stock size wheels. We need to swap them because the truck is getting 18's all around. Fronts rub the ball joint bolt. We had to grind the crap out of the bolt just to fit these stock 17" wheels but the boyds have a bump right where the bolt is....

i had nothing but problems out of my 4" DJM control arms. The nut kept backing of the control arm bolt and it would start sliding out. I had to jack the truck up every week to put the bolt all the way back in then reimpact everything back down

no probs with my djm 4s or 2s and had my 4s for 7 years. if you buy used djms and need to replace ball joints, cheaper to replace with 99-03 ford f150/lightning ones, and most folks say they are better than djms....good luck....Rob

ooops, also i bought some new husky part # sc20222 coil springs from rockauto.com for like 134 shipped. great thing about them is the driver's side spring is taller than the pass. side to minimize that chevy lean. loved them.

Thats cool! Nobody likes that Chevy lean

I've never had any problems with fasteners coming loose with DJM CA's or any other aftermarket suspension product, but I ALWAYS use Loctite on all the hardware.
