Default Someone help me find a decent priced LS2 please!

I'm having a hard time locating a decent priced LS2. I want to start my new project but kinda hard without the engine lol. If you have one or know of anyone that has one for sale please let me know. The best I found so far was 3,250. Thats a fair price, but if I can get a price into the 2,500 mark I would be happy as a clam on spring break.

It's going to be hard, and almost impossible. Your best bet would be a TBSS engine. I've seen those going for around $2500. You can forget about anything coming out of a vette being reasonably priced lol. The GTO engines are also overpriced. You really can't beat an iron 6.0 truck motor for the value. You could buy 2 of them for the price of 1 ls2.

This engine is going into my 93 240sx so the less weight the better. I know its only 75lbs or so but....the lighter the better lol. Now, if I could get ahold of a stroked lq9 for a decent price that can make up hp for its weight gain I might be all over it.

Is there a difference between the gto, c6 and tbss engines besides the assy. setup?

Thunder550 is a selling an iron 403" for $2700. I'd jump on that.

That seems like a big project since I would have to hunt down all the assy and heads etc.
