They are painted pewter metallic now. I have smoothed the "vortec 6000" off of the covers. the covers are 100% smooth there is absolutely no texture on them. I have about 25 hours total in the covers as they sit. I will sell them as they are for 150.00 shipped. I can paint them any other factory color for an extra 65.00. I have decided to use a different intake manifold and these will not fit the new intake.

bump for a great seller. danny does that intake tube make ur iat's higher because of it being painted? figure it might trap excess heat in but idk... also if i had the $ id get these, looks very nice!

i figured something with that kind of quality would take some time. im going to be up that way when i get around to doing my cam swap, could always drop them off and pay to have you ship them back to me. i still need to call you about my buddy's s/c, just keep losing train of thought on it.

what are you asking here? I dont do this for a living I do it for a hobby. If you are asking for a simple scuff and shoot paint job you need to ask someone at a body shop. the last set I did took about 20 hours and the charge was more than im selling these for.
