Default richmond Lockright 1921LR

Fits 8.5" 30 spline rear ends. Thought it would fit my 8.6" and found out it wouldnt the hard way. Tried to put it in and then found out it wouldnt fit. Never been used....0 miles on it. Would like 250 plus shipping. If no bites pretty quick on here it is going on ebay.

I bought it thinking it would fit. AFTER it was paid for and shipped the place I got it from asked me for my truck info. Once they got it they told me it would not fit. Being hard headed I tried any how.......it did not fit. They told me for another $100 they could send me a carrier and bearings that would work. Didnt feel like the hassle so I had a local buyer that never bought so now I need to sale it.

umm i thought the only difference between the 8.5 and 8.625 rears is the bearings? the carriers should be the same...

correct. my auburn unit is for 88+ trucks. just get carrier bearings to fit the 8.6 axle. The carriers are the same.

but this is not a carrier. it is what goes inside an open carrier to convert it to a posi.

correct. but it should still fit the carrier regardless of whether it's an 8.5 or 8.625.

I thought it should too but once you finally get it in it is obviously too wide for my carrier. If I could get all the parts for it in then it would stay locked. The place I got it from said something about an 8.5 HD carrier?
